Donations for Community Events

As local businesses, Culligan of Salt Lake City, Ogden and Orem recognize the importance of community and the impact businesses can have on individuals and organizations. We are proud to sponsor of many area non-profit groups and are happy to deliver our services for a good cause.
At Culligan, the communities we serve are very important to us. In upholding our mission to deliver high quality water products to benefit every part our customers' lives, we are frequently asked to provide donations for community events. Because of the volume of requests we receive, we have developed a few guidelines to ensure we are able to help as many organizations as possible.
  • All donation requests must be submitted in writing by filling out our donation request form. We cannot accept requests via telephone. (NOTE: Due to the number of requests we receive, we cannot guarantee that submitting a request will result in a donation.)
  • Organizations must be not-for-profit, including schools and churches, and be able to provide a tax exemption number or 501c3.
  • In order for Culligan to help as many organizations as possible, each organization will be granted a maximum of one request per calendar year.
  • Requests for monetary donations cannot be accepted.

Non-Profit Organization Sponsorships
South Salt Lake Police Athletic/Activities League (P.A.L.) - Culligan Salt Lake City annually donates cases of water to P.A.L.'s boxing invitational. P.A.L. is a positive youth development organization working towards creating partnerships with the city's youth/community and police officers.
"RUN FOR HER LIFE" - "RUN FOR HER LIFE" Susan Sandoval Run for Ovarian Cancer is held every September during Gynecologic Cancer Awareness month. All proceeds raised at this event support and benefit the Ovarian Cancer Research, Education and Awareness fund created in the Dept. of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Utah. Culligan Salt Lake City donates cases of water to the annual Ovarian Cancer walk/run and has been a preeminent sponsor and community partner since the event inception in 2007.
Wrights Motorcycle Parts/Shriners Hospital for Children - Culligan Salt Lake City very generously donated cases of water to the annual motorcycle ride put on by Wrights Motorcycle Parts. The money raised from the ride benefits the Salt Lake Shriners Hospital for Children.
Moran Eye Center Night for Sight - Each year Culligan Salt Lake City donates private label water to the Moran Eye Center Night for Sight event. This festive event benefits the Moran Eye Center's outreach programs, fighting blindness in Utah and throughout the developing world.
Neighborhood House - The Neighborhood House provides quality, affordable day care and support services to children and adults, based on their ability to pay. Culligan Salt Lake City donates to the Neighborhood House's annual fundraising event.
Arthritis Foundation Utah Chapter - Each year the Arthritis Foundation in Utah holds a walk to raise money for arthritis research and awareness. Culligan Salt Lake City donates water to this annual walk.
